Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Chronicle, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

About Chronicle
Chronicle is an iOS application designed to help you create, manage, and reflect on personal tracks, including streaks, routines, goals, milestones, progress logs, reminders, insights, archives, and PDF reports.
Chronicle is provided as a personal tracking and reflection tool only. It is not a medical, health, fitness, financial, legal, psychological, therapy, productivity coaching, safety-critical, or professional advice service.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the tracks you create, the goals you set, the routines you follow, the milestones you add, the progress you record, and how you interpret your results.
You should not rely on Chronicle for urgent reminders, safety-critical planning, medical routines, medication schedules, legal deadlines, financial obligations, or any situation where missed, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable information could cause harm, loss, or serious consequences.
You are responsible for using your own judgement and seeking appropriate professional advice where needed.
Tracks, Goals, and Progress
Chronicle allows you to create personal tracks and record progress over time. Any progress summaries, streaks, completion states, insights, archive views, or reports shown in the app are based on the data stored in the app and the way that data is interpreted by Chronicle’s tracking logic.
Chronicle does not guarantee that any track, routine, reminder, goal, milestone, insight, or report will produce a particular outcome, improvement, achievement, habit, result, or personal benefit.
Notifications and Reminders
Chronicle may allow you to enable reminders for selected tracks. Notifications are provided as a convenience only and may depend on your device settings, notification permissions, operating system behaviour, Focus modes, battery state, time settings, iCloud status, or other factors outside the control of Jabar Studios.
You remain responsible for any important task, deadline, routine, or obligation, even if a Chronicle notification is not delivered, is delayed, is dismissed, or does not appear as expected.
User Content
Chronicle allows you to create and store private app content, including track names, goals, routines, milestones, progress logs, completion history, archive records, reminder choices, and related settings.
You are responsible for the content you create, enter, save, export, or manage in Chronicle. You must not use Chronicle to store unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, exploitative, sexually explicit, violent, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Private Storage and iCloud Backup
Chronicle stores your app data locally on your device. When iCloud backup is available and enabled through your Apple ID and device settings, Chronicle may save a backup file to your private Apple iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud services so your data can be available across your own Apple devices.
Jabar Studios does not operate an external server to store, access, view, or manage your personal Chronicle tracking data. Jabar Studios cannot recover data deleted from your device, your app installation, or your iCloud account.
You are responsible for managing your device, Apple ID, iCloud settings, iCloud Drive availability, storage limits, backups, and app data.
PDF Export
Chronicle may allow Pro users to export a PDF report based on their tracking data. PDF reports are generated from the information stored in the app.
You are responsible for how you save, share, send, publish, store, or use any exported PDF report. Jabar Studios is not responsible for any disclosure, loss, misuse, or consequences resulting from your decision to export or share a report.
Purchases and Pro Access
Chronicle may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other premium options through Chronicle Pro. Pro features may include unlimited tracks, full insights, PDF export, or other premium functionality.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Jabar Studios does not process payment card details directly.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
Refunds, billing issues, and purchase disputes are handled under Apple’s App Store policies.

External websites and platforms are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Jabar Studios is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, availability, content, policies, or actions.
Intellectual Property
Chronicle, including its design, code, interface, tracking structure, written content, branding, visual style, reports, and app experience, is owned by Jabar Studios Ltd or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, scrape, republish, or create derivative works from Chronicle without written permission from Jabar Studios, except where permitted by law.
App Availability and Changes
Jabar Studios may update, modify, suspend, remove, replace, or discontinue any part of Chronicle at any time, including features, tracking logic, reminders, insights, archive functionality, PDF export, iCloud backup, pricing, Pro access, design, or app functionality.
We aim to maintain a high-quality experience, but we do not guarantee that Chronicle will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, compatible with every device, compatible with every iOS version, or compatible with every iCloud configuration or App Store environment.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Chronicle is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Chronicle is provided for personal tracking and reflection only. Jabar Studios does not guarantee any particular result, benefit, improvement, achievement, habit, streak, routine, goal completion, insight, report accuracy, reminder delivery, or personal transformation from using the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jabar Studios shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost, claim, missed reminder, missed deadline, inaccurate entry, data loss, iCloud issue, purchase issue, device issue, emotional distress, financial loss, health-related consequence, or other outcome arising from your use of Chronicle or your reliance on any track, reminder, goal, milestone, insight, archive entry, or PDF report.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app, Apple platform requirements, legal obligations, pricing, features, or Jabar Studios services.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of these terms will be revised. Continued use of Chronicle after changes are made means you accept the updated terms.
