Venture is an iOS application developed by Jabar Studios. Venture is designed to help you step away from passive screen time, choose a daily path, complete it in the real world, and privately archive the memory with a written reflection and image evidence.
Your privacy is central to the way Venture is built. This policy explains what information the app processes, where that information is stored, and how it is used.
No Jabar Studios Account
Venture does not require you to create a Jabar Studios account. You do not need to provide your name, email address, phone number, username, or profile information to use the core app.
Information Stored by Venture
Venture stores the information needed to provide the app experience, including:
The paths shown to you
The path you choose
Completed ventures
Completion dates
Written reflections you choose to add
Image evidence you choose to attach
App preferences, including haptic feedback and daily reminder settings
Purchase status for premium access
This information is used only to provide Venture’s core features, including the daily path experience, active venture screen, private archive, completed venture display, reminders, and premium access.
Completed Ventures, Reflections, and Image Evidence
When you complete a venture, you are asked to add a written reflection and a single image as evidence of the experience. These entries are private to you.
Jabar Studios does not receive, view, sell, or share your completed ventures, written reflections, or image evidence.
Camera Access
Venture may request access to your camera so you can capture an image to seal your completed venture in your private archive.
Camera access is used only when you choose to take a photo inside the app. Venture does not access your camera in the background and does not use the camera for tracking, analytics, identification, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to attaching image evidence to a completed venture.
Photo Library Access
Venture may request access to your photo library so you can select an image to seal your completed venture in your private archive.
Photo library access is used only so you can choose an image yourself. Venture does not scan your photo library, upload your photo library to Jabar Studios, or access images you do not select.
iCloud Archive
Venture uses Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services to store and sync your archive across your personal Apple devices when iCloud is available and enabled.
Your archive is stored in your private iCloud container associated with your Apple ID. This may include completed ventures, completion dates, reflections, and image evidence.
Jabar Studios does not operate an external server for your archive and cannot access, read, view, or recover your iCloud archive, completed ventures, reflections, or image evidence.
Notifications
Venture may request notification permission so it can send a daily reminder related to your paths.
Notifications are scheduled using Apple’s notification system. Venture does not use an external push notification server for marketing, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
You can manage or disable notifications at any time in your iOS Settings.
Haptic Feedback
Venture may store your haptic feedback preference locally on your device so the app can remember whether you want tactile feedback enabled or disabled.
This preference is used only to control the app experience and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Purchases and Premium Access
If you purchase Venture Pro or another premium feature, the transaction is handled securely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
Jabar Studios does not receive or store your payment card details, banking information, or Apple ID password. Apple may provide transaction and purchase status information required to unlock, maintain, or restore premium access.
Feedback by Email
If you choose to contact Jabar Studios through the feedback option in the app, your email app may open a message addressed to hello@jabarstudios.com.
If you send the email, Jabar Studios will receive your email address and the contents of your message. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry, provide support, understand feedback, or improve the app.
External Links
Venture may include links to the Jabar Studios website and official Jabar Studios social media pages, including Instagram, X, and TikTok.
Opening these links may take you outside Venture. Those external websites and platforms are operated under their own privacy policies and terms. Jabar Studios is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Venture does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Venture does not sell your data.
Venture does not track you across apps or websites.
Venture does not use your completed ventures, reflections, images, reminders, or archive for advertising.
Diagnostic Information
Apple may provide Jabar Studios with crash logs or diagnostic information if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iOS settings.
This information is provided by Apple and is used only to identify and fix technical issues. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
Location
Venture does not request or use your location.
Data Sharing
Jabar Studios does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.
Venture relies on Apple services for core app functionality, including local device storage, iCloud, CloudKit, StoreKit, App Store transactions, notifications, camera access, and photo library access.
Data Deletion
You control your Venture data.
You can delete Venture data by deleting the app from your device and, where applicable, managing or deleting app data through your iCloud settings.
Because Jabar Studios does not maintain an external server containing your archive, Jabar Studios cannot recover data deleted from your device or iCloud account.
Children’s Privacy
Venture is not designed for children under the age of 13. Jabar Studios does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app, Apple platform features, legal requirements, or Jabar Studios services.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.
