Privacy Policy

Hayya is an iOS application developed and published by Jabar Studios Ltd. Privacy is central to how Hayya is built. This document explains what information is processed, where it is stored, and what control you have over it. 

Data We Collect:
Hayya does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to Jabar Studios or third parties, except where you voluntarily contact us by email or where Apple processes App Store transactions on your behalf. The application is built on a local-first architecture.

Location:
Hayya requests access to your device location solely to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. These calculations are processed on your device using Apple’s CoreLocation framework and the app’s prayer-time calculation logic. 

Your location is stored locally on your device so Hayya can continue showing prayer times for your saved location. Your location data is not sent to Jabar Studios or any third party.

Preferences and Settings:
Your calculation method, Asr method, time format preference, selected theme, notification preferences, and other app settings are stored locally on your device. Jabar Studios does not have access to this information.

Notifications:
Hayya can schedule prayer-time reminders on your device if you choose to enable notifications. These reminders are scheduled locally using Apple’s notification system. Hayya does not use an external push notification server to send prayer reminders.

You can turn individual prayer notifications on or off inside the app. You can also revoke notification permission at any time through your iOS Settings.

Widgets:
Hayya may provide home screen and lock screen widgets that display prayer-time information. These widgets read the next prayer, prayer time, Arabic prayer name, selected theme, and related display preferences from the same on-device storage used by the main app.

Hayya widgets do not transmit your information externally.

Purchases:
If you choose to unlock premium themes through a one-time purchase, the transaction is processed securely by Apple through the App Store. Jabar Studios does not receive, process, or store your payment details.

Purchase status may be stored on your device and associated with your Apple ID to support purchase restoration.

Feedback and Contact:
If you choose to contact Jabar Studios by email, you are voluntarily sending us the information included in your message. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry, provide support, and improve the app.

Data Sharing:
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties. Hayya does not use advertising networks, third-party tracking technologies, or external analytics services.

Any crash reports or performance information made available to Jabar Studios are handled through Apple’s native opt-in systems and are provided in an anonymous or aggregated form.

Your Rights and Data Deletion:
Because Hayya stores app data locally on your device, you remain in control of your data.

You may revoke location or notification permissions at any time through your iOS Settings. You may also remove Hayya from your device to delete locally stored app data. Once removed, this data cannot be recovered by Jabar Studios because we do not have access to it.

Children’s Privacy:
Hayya is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the date at the top of this document. Continued use of Hayya after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
